We are a private billing medical practice and settlement of your account is required on the day of the consultation.Payment can be made by EFTPOS or credit card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards).
We only bulk bill children under 16 and patients over 65 with a valid pension card.

Medicare rebates apply for eligible Medicare card holders. If seeing Doctor Tan, the Medicare rebate is $21 for a standard consultation.
Your Doctor will inform you and the reception staff of the fee to be charged for your consultation if other than a standard consultation fee. Please be advised that for longer appointments, where multiple health issues need to be addressed, an appropriate appointment length should be made and the fee will be higher. Some procedures will attract additional fees, please ask our friendly receptionists for details. Please discuss any payment concerns with your doctor.
We are able to submit your claim to Medicare electronically through EasyClaim where the rebate will be credited to your debit account.
Workers compensation and motor vehicle accidents claims Patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation unless they have an approved letter of liability from their insurance company or ICWA.
Management of Telephone calls to Doctors To ensure confidentiality, our Doctors do not take telephone calls during a consultation. A message will be taken by reception staff and the Doctor may return the call at a more convenient time. Reception staff will advise if a more appropriate interaction is necessary.
Zero Tolerance Policy Wesley Medical has a Zero Tolerance policy on aggressive and abusive behaviour. Aggressive behaviour and any form of verbal or physical abuse towards any member of staff will not be tolerated. Staff hold the right to immediately terminate a phone call or request that you leave the premises if they are a victim of such behaviour.
Management of Investigation Reports and Results The practice staff are unable to access your test results or provide your results over the phone. You are required to book for a follow up appointment with your doctor, unless your doctor has an alternative arrangement made with you. If the results require urgent attention, you may either receive a SMS message on your phone or our practice nurse will call you.
Medical Certificates Medical certificates are available and can be requested at the time of consultation with your doctor. If you require a special consideration certificate, please bring the necessary paperwork to your consultation.
Reminders & Recalls Wesley Medical utilises an SMS appointment reminder system for all patients. At the time when you first register at the practice, your permission will be sought to be included in our reminder program. Please advise the staff if you do not wish to participate in this program.
Transfer of medical records Please contact your GP practice and complete their transfer of medical records consent form.
Cancellation / Non-Attendance policy If you do not attend your appointment, a non-attendance fee will be charged at the discretion of the practice. Patients that repeatedly miss their appointments will be charged the full consultation rate (No Medicare rebate will be applicable). All cancellation fees must be paid prior to booking your next appointment.

The practice maintains the security of your personal health information at all times and ensures that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. Appointments are available from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays. We also offer telephone consultations for patients who are unable to attend the clinic however, there are situations where the doctors will need to see you. Online bookings are available and new patients will be required to fill in a new patient registration form
